1. Name the scope of the app pause
A supported Prepper pause blocks new app-controlled actions such as refreshing community data, posting, downloading or checking updates where the released integration observes the pause. It is not a malware scan or a global firewall.
An already started native download may finish, and a cached update may apply on a later launch. Leaving the AI Rogue screen does not necessarily resume connections; review the app’s reconnection choice separately. The website reference alone changes none of these settings.
2. Keep store and system controls separate
Apple documents iPhone update settings under Settings → General → Software Update. Google documents Android version, security and system-update checks, with manufacturer differences. Google Play manages app updates separately and notes that some critical security updates can occur regardless of ordinary auto-update preferences.
Therefore a single “updates locked” badge must not promise that every update source is blocked. Record the specific control and observed setting rather than a broad lock claim.
Basis: Apple — Update your iPhone or iPad · Google — Check and update your Android version · Google Play — Update Android apps
3. Restore trusted maintenance deliberately
For a temporary practice pause, write what you changed and when you intend to review it. Reconnect through a trusted route, review the app status and check the relevant official update settings. Security updates are part of normal device maintenance, not something this guide advises abandoning indefinitely.
If a device or account is suspected to be compromised, follow official support before treating an update or restart as a cure. A website deployment, Expo publication and a store build are different events; none proves a particular phone received the latest code.

Opening this explanation does not activate a pause.
Read the app-pause and reconnection reference →The installed product is Prepper. AI Rogue is a section inside it. An article or website release does not verify a public store listing, an update received by your phone, live LoRa messaging or an OS lock.
